Professor Funakubo's group at Tokyo Denki University, Faculty of Science and Technology, is researching the production of artificial blood vessels and artificial organs in the field of regenerative medicine. It is believed that using nanofibers in this research has advantages in creating three-dimensional structures and serving as scaffold materials for cells.
